Nika Townsend, RMT, SMT(cc.)

Nika graduated from the Ontario Massage Therapy Program receiving the Student Achievement Award with the highest class average in 2009. Having been a competitive figure skater herself, she developed a passion for helping other athletes and has directed her advanced studies towards Sport Massage Therapy. 

Over the last 5 years Nika has gained valuable experience by focusing her attention on the following sports:

Swimming

  • 2015 Pan Am Game Trials

Football:

Rugby:
  • 2012 – Present, Burnaby Lake Rugby Club

In clinic, treatments include Deep Massage Techniques, Active Release Techniques, Graston Techniques and Kinesiology Taping. This unique combination helps athletes attain optimal performance and recover faster. Injury rehabilitation, maintenance and prevention are her strengths and she enjoys treating athletes of all levels. Her unique treatment style and passion for sports coupled with her dynamic personality creating a winning combination.

Prices: 

Nika is a veteran Registered Massage Therapist with years of experience and thousands of combined clinical and sporting placement hours. As such, Nika charges "Senior Therapist Rates". Please see her price list below:

​30 minutes $63

45 minutes $85

60 minutes $110
PLEASE NOTE: All prices include GST and are in line with the recommended Massage Therapy rates as put out by the Massage Therapists Association of BC.

Booking Times:

45 minute to 60 minute appointments are the most applicable time frames that are required to assess, treat and give appropriate home care in. Often 2-3 treatments are all that is required for ailments to show improvement. 30 minute – 45 minute treatments are a great option for those only requiring follow up or maintenance care.
